referring to the issuing of an FM radio licence to Nationwide News Network (NNN).
Some of those reports have erroneously stated that a licence has been granted by

The Broadcasting Commission has secured an agreement from Cable
Operators and Broadcasters across the island to actively co-operate in the
immediate introduction of an alert system to expedite the recovery of children
reported missing.
Broadcasting Commission invites applications for island-wide wireless cable
The Broadcasting Commission is on course to facilitate more competition in the
Jamaican cable market.
The Commission is issuing a “Call for Applications” to companies that want to
provide island-wide subscriber television service using wireless technology.
Parents Urged to Regulate Home Environment
Even, as it engages with the media to ensure better compliance
with the law, the Broadcasting Commission is encouraging
parents to take a closer look at what controls they are applying
inside their homes to minimize children’s exposure to problematic
content in programming.
