AI4IA Conference

The Broadcasting Commission of Jamaica (BCJ) is pleased to partner with UNESCO’s Information for All Programme (IFAP) for the 7th Annual Global AI4IA Conference, a special legacy event commemorating 25 years of UNESCO IFAP.

Held annually in observance of the International Day for Universal Access to Information, the global conference brings together perspectives from across countries and sectors to examine the opportunities and challenges presented by artificial intelligence and what they mean for access to information, inclusion and participation in an increasingly digital world.

This year’s programme will focus on two critical questions: Who is being left behind as AI transforms access to information? And who holds the power and responsibility in the development and deployment of AI? It will also feature the launch of the AI4IA Intelligence Pilot, providing searchable access to six years of knowledge and discussions generated through the AI4IA initiative.
